Rainy Day Dressing
So I finally choose my first selections. The process was really pretty easy. For the purpose of not jumping around so so much. I am going to start with page 1 then 2 the so on and so one. I have not purchased these or gone to the library but I am going to start reading them tomorrow. The first is “Breath, Eyes, Memory” by Edwidge Danticat. The the others are “Song of Solomon” by Toni Morrison and third, “A Lesson Before Dying” by Ernest J. Gaines. Tomorrow I am going to get the first one and update on that but I am very excited to start this journey. I have read all the books on the Newbery Medal Award book list and it would have been so nice to document that so I am ready for this! See you soon. Happy Reading!
I don’t know who’s reading or who will read but I am hoping that someone is or will be. I have decided to embark on a journey of epic proportions! I am going to read every single book in Oprah’s book club and blog about them. I am about to head to the library and pick up the first few copies of the books. I am not sure how I am going to pick them but i just printed the whole list but I will keep you posted on the way I pick them. I want to see what kind of books are on this list and experience their impact in my life. I’m sure some will be boring and others completely amazing but I am sure each and every one of them will have some sort of affect.
